The History of St. John's Wort: St. John's Wort has been said to have been used over 2000 years and was named in honor of John the Baptist. History clearly shows that St. John's Wort has been used for centuries to treat a host of conditions.  St. John's Wort is one of the most prescribed treatments for mild to moderate depression in Europe and has become one of the top selling dietary supplements in the USA.
